Helpdesk IT Hotline Consultant responsibilities

  • Providing comprehensive support to German-speaking customers regarding the use of software developed by our company (primarily a system enabling the management of life insurance contracts).
  • Active daily communication (via email and telephone).
  • Creating and verifying error reports.
  • Prioritising and subsequently redistributing errors to development staff.
  • Internal communication with colleagues regarding error reports (developers, testers).

Helpdesk IT Hotline Consultant job requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to quickly understand and navigate the relevant subject matter.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, abstract thinking, and the ability to explain technical issues to technically oriented individuals.
  • Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
  • Ability to work in an international team.
  • Independence, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Successfully completed secondary or university education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree).
