Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:

You take ownership of small to medium-sized projects with low to moderate complexity.

You support a project or programme manager in the delivery of larger projects.

You actively contribute to the development, leadership, and coordination of project team members.

You manage project planning, monitoring, and progress control.
-
Together with a programme manager or senior project manager, you are responsible for achieving the objectives of your assigned project.

You communicate regularly with the project steering committee and report on current project status.

You actively apply project methodologies and tools, and contribute to their development and continuous improvement across the organisation.

You participate in building and managing customer relationships.

You support colleagues in acquisition activities.

Requirements for the applicant
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):
-
Completed education or degree in computer science, management, economics, or a related field
-
At least 1 year of experience leading software projects or supporting a project team, ideally in the insurance industry

Experience covering the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Knowledge of project management and financial controlling, ideally also accounting
-
Fluent German (minimum C1)

Intermediate English (minimum B1)

Ability to organise work systematically, prioritise tasks, and work with complex concepts

Ability to analyse and present complex topics in a clear and accessible way
-
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and understand customer needs
-
Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team
-
Self-driven approach to tasks, accountability for results, and the ability to see solutions through to completion

Willingness to travel to customers or other offices abroad
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):

Familiarity with project methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Waterfall)

Advanced MS Excel and Microsoft 365 skills

Interest in developing professional expertise and adopting new approaches

Salary and Benefits

- Salary from €2,600 gross per month – the exact amount depends on your experience and will be mutually agreed
