Application and server virtualisation

Administration of Windows server infrastructure based on both physical and virtual machines.
Responsibility for central Windows patch management for server systems.
Responsibility for data backup and operation of storage environments (NetApp, Dell EMC2 Networker).
Second-level support, resolving error tickets and requests from our project areas.
Ensuring smooth operations and compliance with security regulations and data protection policies.
Participation in national and international IT infrastructure and IT projects.
Creating system documentation – adopting, creating, and implementing changes.
Updating existing (system) documentation and providing general Windows support.

Previous professional experience in the field of Windows administration.
Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
Knowledge of application and server virtualisation and storage management.
Completed secondary or university education at bachelor’s or master’s level.
Good communication skills in German and English (minimum B2 level).
Strong customer orientation.
Independence, responsibility, and reliability.
Logical and analytical thinking, flexibility, and precision.
Ability to work in a team and to follow a structured approach to tasks.
