IT Business Analyst - Migration key skills

  • Ability to navigate technical domains and actuarial insurance concepts
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages Java or C (ability to define migration rules)
  • SQL knowledge
  • German language skills at B2 level

IT Business Analyst - Migration responsibilities and job description

  • Participating in the implementation and migration of insurance products and systems within the insurance sector.
  • Designing transformation rules for the migration of insurance products.
  • Performing technical and business analysis, and optimising IT systems and processes within project frameworks.
  • Ensuring the quality and consistency of actuarial attributes within insurance contracts and portfolios.
  • Developing customer-specific business concepts and optimal solution scenarios for the development, expansion, and integration of actuarial and administrative IT systems.
  • Regularly consulting with project teams and project leads on deliverables and progress.

Technologies and tools used by IT Business Analyst - Migration

  • Basic programming skills in Java or C (for defining migration rules)
  • SQL proficiency
  • Advantageous: Experience with VBA and data migration

IT Business Analyst - Migration job requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in mathematics, actuarial science, computer science, or a related field.
  • Ability to understand technical systems and actuarial models.
  • Strong communication skills in German.
  • Independence, accuracy, responsibility and flexibility.
