Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:
- Analysis and design of solutions – you participate in the analysis of business requirements, their technical processing and design of application architecture in Java.
- Development and maintenance of systems – you develop new modules, extend existing functionalities and take care of their smooth operation.
- Code quality and testing – you ensure the quality of solutions through unit and regression testing, code review and process automation.
- Collaboration and communication – you work closely with colleagues, share your know-how and contribute to process improvement.
- Documentation – you create and maintain technical and user documentation for the solutions you create.
- Development coordination – you take responsibility for the team or the technical part of the project as needed, leading colleagues and supporting their growth.

- Java 11, Java 17, Spring, Maven, Nexus, JBoss, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SOAP/REST Webservices, Cloud
- DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL

Requirements for the applicant
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):
- Education in computer science, mathematics or related fields (high school or university).
- Minimum 8 years of Java development experience.
- Practical experience in software architecture design.
- Fluency in German (minimum level C1).
- Ability to execute your designs independently but also as part of a team.
- Solution orientation and a desire to continuously improve.
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience with agile development and insurance industry environment.
- Advanced knowledge of the English language (level B2 and above).
- Willingness to travel abroad occasionally (about 10 days per year) for joint workshops or project meetings.

- Salary from €3,100 gross
