Job Description

WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?

Your work duties and responsibilities include:

  • Requirements analysis, design and agile development of solutions in life, non-life and health insurance
  • Development and maintenance of support systems
  • Error correction, implementation of unit and regression tests
  • Creation and maintenance of technical and business documentation
  • The possibility of coordinating or co-managing the development

The technologies and tools you’ll work with:

  • Java 11, Java 17, Spring, Maven, Nexus, JBoss, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SOAP/REST Webservices, Cloud
  • DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Eclipse, InteliJ Idea, Windows OS, GIT (Bitbucket)
  • Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Teams Collaboration

Employee Requirements

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?

Key skills (MUST HAVE):

  • At least a secondary education in informatics, mathematics, or related fields
  • At least 8 years of working experience in Java programming
  • Experience in software architecture design
  • Fluent communication in German at C1 (advanced) level
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in an international team
  • Solution orientation, initiative and willingness to learn

We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Previous experience with agile development in the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of English language – upper-intermediate (B2) level
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips abroad (max. 10 days per year)

Salary and Benefits
