Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:
- Performing migrations of our insurance software products and systems.
- Collaboration in the development and creation of migration transition rules and their implementation in our migration system.
- Analysis and comparison of source and target systems, including their data models.
- Participation in the design and implementation of the technical infrastructure for migration: care of the migration server, configuration and maintenance of databases, installation and configuration of target systems, technical support for migration test runs and productive migration in cooperation with our customers.
- Participate in customer meetings; support and advise on the implementation of the target system.
The technologies and tools you’ll work with:
- Programming languages and frameworks:C/C++, Java 17, Java 21
- Databases:DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Communication and collaboration:Jira, Confluence, Office 365, MS Teams
Requirements for the applicant
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):
- Successful completion of secondary or higher education in mathematics, computer science, statistics or related
fields - At least 2 years’ experience in migration projects
- Experience with DB2/Oracle/PostgreSQL database environments, or their administration and maintenance
- Extensive knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of C/C++ (or Java) programming
- Advanced knowledge of German (at least B2 level)
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience in design, conception and implementation of software products
- English language proficiency at B2 level
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips abroad (max. 3 days per year).

- salary from 2 800 € gross per month – the specific salary depends on your experience and will be the result of an agreement,
