Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:
- Performing migrations of our insurance software products and systems.
- Collaborating in the development and design of migration transition rules and their implementation in our migration system.
- Analysing and comparing source and target systems, including their data models.
- Participation in the design and implementation of the technical infrastructure for migration: migration server maintenance, configuration and maintenance of databases, installation and configuration of target systems, technical support for migration test runs and productive migration in cooperation with our customers.
- Participation in customer meetings; support and advice in the implementation of the target system.
The technologies and tools you’ll work with:
- DB2/Oracle
- SQL, PostgreSQL
- C/C++
Employee Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):
- A minimum of a high school education in mathematics, computer science, statistics, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in migration projects.
- Experience with DB2/Oracle/PostgreSQL database environments or their administration and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL.
- Basic knowledge of C/C++ (or Java) programming.
- Fluent communication in German at B2 (upper-intermediate) or C1 (advanced) level.
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):
- Previous experience in the design, conception and implementation of software products.
- Command of the English language.
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips abroad (max. 3 days per year).

- Salary from 2,400 € gross per month – the specific salary depends on your experience and will be the result of an agreement.
