Tasks for DevOps engineer
- Creating and maintaining test and development environments as well as Build Pipeline for our product development and customer projects.
- Development and implementation of CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous delivery).
- Concept, monitoring and further development of processes and tools in the area of automation, testing and deployment (deployment – Build Pipelines).
- Analyzing the requirements of the development team and deriving the technical implementation in the build process, as well as support for our customer projects.
- Operations and further development of central build infrastructure (including Jenkins, Nexus and databases) under Unix.

Job Requirements for the position of DevOps engineer
- Experience in developing and supporting solutions based on e.g. GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins (summarizing CI/CD).
- Experience in Build Management, ideally in an IT services company or IT projects as well as software development and release.
- Ability to be results and solution oriented as well as interested in new technologies and approaches.
- Active level of German (B2 and above) or English (B2 and above).
- Experience with PL/SQL, ORACLE, DB2 welcome.
- Successfully completed secondary or higher (university) education.
- Good communication skills, reliability and ability to work in an agile team.
