Tasks and job description for the position of Project Technical Lead
- During the integration of our standard software msg.Insurance Suite, our complete solution for digitized insurance, you will be responsible for all software architecture and technology issues in specific customer projects.
- You proactively identify work packages on technical topics, define and plan tasks taking into account dependencies, time, resources and costs.
- You manage the project to be successful in line with the required software quality, sustainability and standard software thinking.
- You actively address suggestions for improving our products and processes, communicating actively in German all the time .
- You will take responsibility for supporting a team of developers and work on participation in the creation of strategic architecture and product development (framework, tools).
- You will become a contributing member of our team in designing technology standards and ensuring their implementation.
Technologies and tools used by Project Technical Lead
- Working with Jira, Excel, ERP
- Knowledge of common Java EE tools and frameworks such as Spring, Maven, Jenkins
- Knowledge ofapplication servers (WildFly and JBoss)
- Basic knowledge of integration architecture (e.g. SOA, ESB)
Job requirements for Project Technical Lead
- Professional experience and extensive IT know-how (software engineering, application architectures, DevOps, operations and infrastructure).
- Experience in coordinating a larger project team technically (at least 15 employees in different positions within the project) from planning, organization to controlling and knowledge of common project management methods such as Scrum and Waterfall.
- Senior experience as a software IT architect or Java developer (5+ years) with Java EE tools and frameworks such as Spring, Maven, Jenkins and application servers (WildFly and JBoss), also basic knowledge of integration architectures (e.g. SOA, ESB).
- Ability to master the software architecture of our entire system, familiarity with insurance industry software and the ability to stay in this self-directed “learning by doing” training for at least half a year.
- Excellent communication skills in German – intermediate (B2).
- Sense of teamwork, logical and analytical thinking, flexibility, independence, accuracy.
