Tasks for Project Management Officer – PMO IT

  • Supporting programme and project managers in managing projects from contract acceptance to invoicing.
  • Entering projects, contracts and activities based on knowledge of contractual conditions into internal analytical, planning and controlling systems (CRP, ERP).
  • Controlling staff time spent on the project and monitoring the optimal use of all project resources.
  • Preparation of reports, evaluations and ad-hoc analyses of key project performance indicators.
  • Monthly closing and preparation of documents for billing department for entrusted projects.
  • Controlling financial costs in projects and communicating with the company’s billing and controlling department.
  • Written and telephone communication with customers in German.
  • Preparation of agenda, documents, organization of internal and customer meetings and preparation of protocols.
  • A proactive approach to improving our project management standards and processes, accountability for the implementation of standard methods and tools in all assigned projects.
  • Administrative tasks related to the project (onboarding, document management, updating mail groups, creating and updating Confluence for the project).

Job Requirements Project Management Officer – PMO IT

  • Work experience in a similar position in an IT company or financial institutions an advantage.
  • Successfully completed secondary or higher education I. or II. degrees.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and Office 365.
  • Knowledge and insight in accounting, project management and financial controlling.
  • German (level B2) and English (level B1).
  • Willingness to travel to German-speaking countries.
  • Sense of teamwork, logical and analytical thinking.
  • Flexibility, independence, accuracy.
