QA IT software tester junior

As an IT Tester Junior you will become a full-fledged part of our German-speaking team. Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:
- You will be involved in testing real IT projects in the field of insurance products, starting with manual tests.
- You will gain basic experience with automated testing and gradually get involved in the more challenging parts of the testing process. You will master automated testing and gradually move on to more challenging tasks within the testing process.
- In collaboration with experienced colleagues, you will participate in the preparation and execution of functional tests with an emphasis on the quality of solutions.
- You will work with testers and developers from Slovakia and our parent company in Germany.
- You will gradually take over independent responsibility for testing, including the coordination of testing activities.
- After gaining experience, you can profile yourself as a specialist who manages testing, provides expert support and consultation to customers and is their reliable partner.
Technologies and tools you may encounter:
- Development and database tools: DbVisualizer, Eclipse
- Working with data: basic SQL, XML
- Documentation by Jira, Confluence
- Communication and collaboration: Microsoft 365 (including Microsoft Teams)
Requirements for the applicant
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):
- Advanced knowledge of German language at least at B2 level
- Completion of secondary or higher education (1st or 2nd cycle)
- Interest and ability to continuously learn and develop professional knowledge
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips (approximately 5 days per year)
- Independent, systematic and responsible approach to work
- Accuracy, reliability and good organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):
- Experience in the insurance industry, knowledge of insurance products and working with an insurance information system
- English language skills at an active B2 level

- Salary from 1 600 € gross – the specific salary depends on your experience and will be the result of an agreement
