Systems/DevOps Engineer Senior responsibilities

  • Creating a reliable and efficient interface between IT operations and software development, analysing requirements and ensuring the seamless delivery of our services.
  • Supporting our project teams in the development, maintenance, and optimisation of build pipelines.
  • Establishing and further developing a scalable and efficiently manageable multi-cloud infrastructure.
  • Administration of Windows and Unix server infrastructure based on physical and virtual machines.
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of data storage systems (NetApp, Dell).
  • Evaluating new technologies in the field of IT infrastructure and producing system documentation.

  • Unix systems (AIX, Linux)
  • Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines, Maven, Java, Tomcat, GIT/Jira/SVN, Docker, Tanzu Kubernetes, Ansible

Systems/DevOps Engineer Senior job requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the administration of complex Unix systems in a global data centre environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, orchestration, and configuration management.
  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure services.
  • Experience with monitoring, configuration and visualisation tools.
  • Good communication skills in both German and English (minimum level B2).
  • Structured approach to work, reliability, and flexibility.
