If designing intelligent and innovative solutions is not just a challenge for you but also an opportunity to contribute to projects with real-world impact, then become part of our team at a leading provider of IT solutions and consulting services for the insurance industry.

Job Description

WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?

Your work duties and responsibilities include:

  • Innovative AI solutions – You design and implement solutions based on machine learning, deep learning, and large language models (LLMs), working with models such as Claude and GPT.
  • Natural language processing (NLP) – You develop and optimise retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, working with vector and metadata search, reranking, chunking, and prompt engineering to improve model accuracy.
  • Multimodal models – You work with models combining text and image data and apply them within professional insurance software systems.
  • Fine-tuning and optimisation – You apply advanced techniques for fine-tuning foundation models, tune hyperparameters, and evaluate AI solution performance.
  • ML in insurance – You apply mathematical, statistical, and actuarial methods to model financial and insurance processes.
  • Cloud – You develop infrastructure (IaC: AWS CDK) and integrations (AWS SDK), and deploy and operate AI applications in production (scaling, monitoring, incident management).
  • Research and collaboration – You participate in research projects and collaborate with universities and research institutions to bring new approaches into practice.
  • Teamwork and knowledge sharing – You work as part of a team of experts, share know-how, discuss ideas, and collectively push the boundaries of what AI can do.

Technologies and tools you may encounter:

  • Languages: Python, SQL, Bash
  • Frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain/LlamaIndex, pandas, NumPy
  • AI and ML: Machine learning, deep learning, NLP, RAG, LLMs (Claude, GPT), multimodal models; vector databases: pgvector (PostgreSQL)
  • Data analytics: Supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, hyperparameter optimisation; visualisation (Matplotlib, Plotly)
  • Cloud and MLOps: AWS (S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch), IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation/AWS CDK), Docker, CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins)
  • Collaboration tools: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365 (incl. Microsoft Teams)
