Tasks of IT Project Quality Manager

  • You will take responsibility for the creation and further development of tools and methodologies of both classical and agile approaches in managing software projects in our company and in the creation of quotations for customers, including the design of contracts.
  • You will support other project managers in creating customer quotations, leading their projects or initiating customer projects with a focus on adhering to the tools and methods of the classic or agile project approach.
  • Conducting audits and reviews in our customer projects, including managing and controlling the implementation of changes.
  • You will be responsible for the quality management in the application of the chosen classical or agile approach in customer projects and you will be involved in the further development of the methods of the actual quality management process of our customer projects.
  • Your tasks will include continuous improvement of established processes of classic and agile approach for customer projects in collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines.

Job requirements for IT Quality Project Manager

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience leading customer facing software projects. Experience in planning, monitoring, coordinating and controlling multiple customer projects simultaneously is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and work experience in quality management and auditing of software development processes with a focus on analyzing, defining, optimizing and implementing (business) processes, as well as managing the subsequent implementation of changes.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry processes, products and technologies (life insurance, health insurance, P&C) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience with classical and agile software development methods.
  • Knowledge of common contract forms and economic aspects of customer projects.
  • Experience in SW development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies to manage SW development is an advantage.
  • Successfully completed secondary or higher education I. or II.
    degree.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel and Office 365.
  • Advanced level of German (C1 level) + English (at least B1 level).
  • Constructive, pragmatic and solution-oriented thinking and action.
  • Persuasive manner, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Sense of teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
  • Independence, responsibility and flexibility.
  • Willingness to travel to German-speaking countries.
