Data Scientist responsibilities and job description

  • Using machine learning (ML), deep learning and large language models (LLM) in a professional DevOps environment with Python, as well as training parameters in the context of Hyperparameter Optimization for our models.
  • Design of new software components based on artificial intelligence in the environment of professional standard insurance software systems.
  • Development of Knowledge Management systems using LLM and Business Process Support systems based on AI.
  • Optimization of conventional software development processes using ML and AI.
  • Work on research projects and collaboration with research institutes.

Data Scientist job requirements

  • Successfully completed second-level university education (Master’s degree) in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field of study or specialization.

  • Solid theoretical foundation, especially in probability theory, distributions and hypothesis testing.
  • Interest in new technologies and application scenarios.

  • From €2,600 gross per month, or from €210 per man-day for contractors (freelance/self-employed).
  • The specific salary depends on the candidate’s proven experience and track record and is the result of a mutual agreement.
