Job Description
WHAT’S WAITING FOR YOU?
Your work duties and responsibilities include:

Specifications in German – You analyse requirements from our customers (insurance companies) and translate their needs and goals into specifications covering both the functional part and the technical brief for the development team. You act as the link between system users and software development.

Consultations and workshops – You maintain regular contact with customers about their requirements. You create functional specifications, participate in system configuration and parameterisation, present new system features, and propose solutions aligned with customer needs and technical capabilities. This includes preparing and delivering workshops, training sessions, and presentations.

Customer support and advisory – You advise customers on system deployment and customisation, as well as on insurance product-related questions. You analyse feature-level issues and create use cases.

Testing and conceptual work – You test system functionalities and contribute to the design of concepts and solution proposals for their further development.

Requirements for the applicant
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
Key skills (MUST HAVE):

Completed education or degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field

3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, IT Analyst, or IT Product Specialist in software development

Ability to analyse customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions

Strong communication skills with regular direct customer contact

Ability to produce technical documentation that is concise, clear, and easy to understand

Prior experience in the insurance industry

Fluent German (minimum C1) – independent customer communication and preparation of technical documentation
We also appreciate (NICE TO HAVE):

Ability to read and navigate Java code

English skills an advantage (any level)

Willingness to travel occasionally for international assignments (max. 10 days per year)

- Salary from €2,600 gross per month – the exact amount depends on your experience and will be mutually agreed
